I have been working on my "Sketchbook Project" this past week and thought I can share some of what I have been working on. I really enjoy working with watercolors dripping effect. Since my theme is "Raining Cats and Dogs" I figured this would be a perfect time to use my new found watercolor effect. I tried a blow dryer, but blowing on it (using my lungs - LOL) gives me more control. I wish my scanner would scan the sketches better. It really doesn't capture the true colors. My daughter is also helping in the "Sketchbook Project" so she drew a kitty cat giving the weather... she is so cute.
It looks as though you are having great fun ! Nice sketches too and original technique with watercolour to adjust to your theme. I have only six doublee pages to go before the end of my Sketchbook for the 2011 Project, my theme being "your name here"; but I find the paper really frustrating !
ReplyDeleteGREAT dripping effects - especially the red !It is pouring rain outside at the moment so Ican relate to that.
ReplyDeleteI have the theme "The View from up Here"and am doing an A to Z of drawings form photogrpahs I have taken from up high
