Start of getting more serious about my work

I just wanted to thank everyone for all their comments and feedback. I really appreciate it, it lets me know I am connecting with someone out there :)
Since the summer is here and I will probably have just a little tiny bit more time to work on some finished pieces - so I can hopefully participate in an art festival this year - I wanted to share with you guys some of the things that I have been working on to get my work more prepared for festival status.
So in my future posts  - I'll be posting about some DIY projects, photographing my work, some of the things I have been doing to get myself mentally prepared, working through my perfectionist issues - so it doesn't continue to hold me back, inspiration, books, process, etc...
I hope these posts will be a help to those who are also trying to get more serious about getting their work out there. Please, if you have any suggestions or DIY, knowledge to share, please do so in the comments.
Next week: DIY for a light box to trace your work.

  2. I can relate to the whole thing of getting ready for things (3 art shows within two weeks), its a lot of work and planning... And hopefully there is a reward for all the work that went in to it. Best of luck to your upcoming shows!!
